Probably the "solution" is cancel practices and put games on during those times starting 5pm ending 10pm. Rather than leaving it to clubs to arrange games themselves on "evenings and weekends" you know?

How is even fair when the decision to have group leaders be champions was made 2 games in.

Plus it is still randomly snowing.

We are in Mayors cup with 4 games to play next weekend, and Im sure there are others who are in the same boat.

Mayors Cup has record no of teams this year and all turf fields in Surrey /South Surrey , Guildford ,Delta,Langley are being used from Fri til Sun. Due to the rain/snow grass field games may need to be switched to turf fields & extra fields will be needed possibly in Ladner & Richmond etc.
Dist 5 should just update the standings up to Sun Mar 5 and be done.

I tend to agree. It is what it is this year.

Any Dist 5 leage games played this weekend ? Hope there is no more extensions !

Time to create a Clausura/Apertura set-up (also known as Spring and Fall seasons in NASL).

Feb-April sched (obv this Feb was a write-off!) and a Sept-Nov schedule. Coastal Cup in May-June. Provincials in July. Works. Done.

I guess you would find teams and leagues creating futsal scenarios in Dec-Jan.

According to the schedule, the District 5 league ended on February 25 but it was then extended until March 4 because the league finals were cancelled. The top 2 teams in each group were supposed to get medals, but it's almost been a month and there's no sign of any medals. Does anyone know anything else about this?
