Sorry, it was a rhetorical question. I was just describing a common sentiment of what's going on. Not directed at you.

These clubs in Surrey, specifically, Newton Athletic Park, are bad news. If you keep breaking up and splitting, you are dividing the talent, and if you do that then you will not have good results. You are only stronger if you are together not apart. Majority of the coaches and heads of the clubs have no idea of what they are doing. They just quarrel over something and then they decide that " We'll make our own club " .

All of this b.s. will come to an end if BC Soccer runs the SMSA district another way OR, if BC Soccer implements that all coaches at the gold and metro level be B Provincial coaches and not just soccer 4 life, which you can obtain a bit too easily.

The kids/players and parents will suffer in the end......very sad.

Updated Surrey winter clubs list :
1-Surrey Utd
2-Guildford
3-CCB
4-Surrey Youth
5-PUFC
6-VAN UTD
7- BC Tigers
8- GN ?

That,s 7 and possibly 8 winter clubs with 6 just in Newton alone .

Hope the people setting up new clubs are doing it for the players development rather than for EGO !!!
Any new club should be made to set up @ Tom Binnie cus parking & traffic congestion is horrendous at NAP every evening

I don,t agree with so many winter clubs being formed in Newton as it splits up teams and waters down the talent . The Boys Metro U17 (2000 born ) is a perfect example of the talent being split up & watered down. There are 4 Metro spots at NAP ! :(
