This thread is to discuss what role BCSA should be playing? Motivation for this thread came from an article on the TSS website called Rethinking BC Soccer. I highly suggest reading this article to help with discussion on this thread.
Main question is does BCSA play a governing role, and if so to what extent should that role be? Currently they control . BCSPL , Provincial teams. Provincial Cups, seasons times and dates, leagues, player transfers etc.. should this be left to the various clubs and districts.
They definitely play a role in coaching development and in player development programming and guidance, how should this look?
And lastly what is their role between CSA, professional clubs and community clubs?
