Where do you draw the line though? There will always be border clubs that could be on either side. Richmond is north of the branch of the fraser they used to define the new district. Plus im sure its easier for richmond to cross into van than drive out to north delta surrey etc.

I agree. It may make sense to join South Delta ( Ladner / Tsawwassen ) with Richmond.

Is driving to North Shore any worse than Chilliwack or Mission?

would have made more sense to have richmond and delta youth merge. Unless someone has some insight as to why that was proposed. 1 district with 12 or so clubs and than Richmond district with 2. that seems bizarre.

Not an easy decision but 1 district with 2 clubs (effectively just 1 club though!) makes literally zero sense.

Yes, once upon a time the Boys had 4 clubs (based on geography) that long ago formed into one. The Girls have only ever been one small club and it's only around 500 members. Richmond District board is simply made up of the same directors that come from the clubs. All the same people run everything.

After reading all this, it just proves going private and receiving professional training and games from one establishment that you decide on is by far the best option.
