Unfortunately, in my experience, this is not unusual. For U12Boys, we have to go to the hosting club to look at their schedule to see where/when we play. Depending on the club and the week, that might not be until Thursday. And if the fields get closed, then we will have to check back late on Friday to see where we have been moved to. My guess is that the job is too huge to contemplate doing a whole season (or even a couple of weeks?) in advance...instead we get drip fed every week. It is very frustrating, but has been that way for me since we graduated into Youth.
I'd be happy even knowing who we are playing and if its home or away. u12B at least have a schedule, mini's have no schedule at all. No problem dealing with changes due to adverse weather.
Just three days left for our first game and we still do not have a schedule. This is really bad. I have parents emailing me but I have no answer. Some of the parents are waiting to hear back about the game time on Saturday so that they can plan their day. Can we get the schedule up today please.

I've reached out to a couple of places and for TCYSA stuff, I'm told everything was delayed a week, i.e., there are no games this weekend... please don't just take my word for it though and confirm with your club!
Aside from TCYSA, are any of the other league schedules "suffering" for this weekend at this time?
If you can give me some specifics, I will do my best to get some info!

any idea what is up with District 5 U15 Div 2 schedule? AYS is listed on the contact list (with no contact info) but not on the standings menu. 2 teams show they didn't play. I am guessing perhaps AYS is incorrectly listed and perhaps leaving 2 teams with buys which is a shame.

Glitch in the matrix. Really it looks like a mess. Does not make sense at all to have 2 byes.
AYS is listed as a BYE. Most likely a team folded and they didnt have time to fix it. Probably waiting until thanksgiving to fix it at tiering.

Agreed on the mess... if you look at the 'latest changes' for that div, you'll see way back on September 5th, a BYE 'spot' was renamed to the AYS Heat and there is a coach name and contact info there.
If I had to guess, I would say the scheduling software doesn't handle renaming a 'BYE' team to an actual team well and now there is an issue when inputting the scores that get ignored in the generated standings reports.

Just a quick note that other than offering a space for schedules, standings and whatnot for the leagues, BCSC has no say in the communication or publishing that stuff here. We're as frustrated as all of you 
Trying to push and ask for info but it is a tough sled right now, people seem to be overwhelmed with the magnitude of everything needed to be done. That's the best observation I can give at this point.

OK, here is the definitive answer for TCYSA schedule stuff as I just spoke with the vice-chairperson:
U8-U9-U10 DEVELOPMENT teams are playing this weekend, NO other teams are scheduled to play this weekend.
The coaches of the above noted development teams have all been notified on where and when they are playing this weekend (and apparently the development teams only come from Poco, Port Moody, and Coquitlam Metro Ford).
All other teams in TCYSA will start play the following weekend, namely, September 26 & 27th.
Clear as mud?
Like this post so I can feel good about myself and be rewarded with a woobly pop, I need one after today!

U12Boys teams (Division 1) should recheck their schedule for this weekend. Earlier this week we were scheduled to play an SFC team...now we are playing a CCB team. And we are on both the SFC and CCB schedules! I am used to time and field changes...never actually seen a change in my opponent!

Full 5-District schedules finally up, to December 5th. Disappointed that play ends Dec 5, instead of the 12th, especially when there's teams we haven't played in our division yet. With Labour Day being so late, it feel like being gypped out of a game.
Still issues with unbalanced schedules as well. Our U18 Div 1 team has 4 home games, 7 away games scheduled.

I agree with you. For many teams league play started a week late, and it seems it will also finish a week early unless that changes. Then you have a division with multiple byes......ugh.

Does anyone know if AYS Fast 11 (U15 Div 2) really exist? They're not listed in the standings, every game the were scheduled for has a result of "bye"...

If you look at the teams by club page, this team does not exist. Maybe it was pulled after the schedule was made?

I've asked our District scheduler, but no reply. That would be doubly frustrating, as it would give us two byes, which is nonsense.

There are 2 teams sitting each week in u15 Div 2 which is rediculous. Hopefully it will be fixed over thanksgiving. I would imagine with tiering at least one spot would be filled.
