If you are losing 5-6 players in Aug/Sept you are obviously doing something wrong. Your club has 2 teams in Div 1 . Both are tied for last place. Common sense would have combined both teams and tiered players accordingly.
At the end of the day you are responsible for putting your team in...
5 District is made up of hard working volunteers who do not deserves comments like this.
At U18 Boys Div 1 the bottom 2 teams have 3 points each. What responsibility do the club/coach bear?
At U13 I can understand clubs/coaches not knowing what division best suits their team but by U18 you...
AGM's are held
At CCB's last year AGM they did not allow current members a vote and BC Soccer saw nothing wrong with this.
Only parents who were registered for the following year were allowed to vote. Which IMHO is wrong at so many levels and against the Society Act.
I believe BC Tigers/CCB...
Will be interesting to see if anyone is suspended after BC Soccer makes a decision on who is right and wrong. You would think the wrong party would be disciplined or will saying sorry we did not know any better be enough to get off the hook.
Like last summer ??
I think making a teenager with no certification your clubs Technical Director speaks more about CCB's Leadership and Management then it does about a young teenager.
Wonder if the same decision makers are still at CCB or have moved on with the Tiger group.
I hope CCB all the success in the world but they need to stop making statements like this:
CCB Soccer is on track to have the most successful Spring/Summer, and Fall Soccer Seasons.
Not sure how they are defining success.
Sterotype is an understatement. All teams everywhere have 1-3 players that stand out. I am pretty sure this is not just at Newton.
PS. This is at all levels also.
City has to be held responsible for putting two rival clubs in one park. Did anyone expect anything different?
In my opinion BCSPL should be rewarded to clubs developing players. If this was the case there would have been a franchise at SFC.
Before BCSPL 2 out of every 5 provincial players...
Actually....
Ladner, Tsawwassen, Surdel, Coastal, Guilford, Pacific United, SFC, Surrey United all voted against it.
The only club not represented in this vote that would be effected by this merger is North Delta.
But if Ladner, Tsawwassen, and Coastal voted NO at SDGSA you would think their...
Not exactly sure what you are saying? Canada not beating or scoring a goal against USA is not as simple as population. If it was the case there would be more Americans playing in the NHL vs Canadian.
Unfortunately for you Canadians make up approximately 50% of NHL players VS 25% American...
I understand the bases for the statement More players = more players with talent.
But having more players does not directly correlate to having players with more talent.
By making statements like this we are discounting clubs technical programs, coach mentoring and coach education programs...
My original post was intended to disprove socceroo statement below.
I havent seen a powerhouse central Surrey youth team challenge Premier Cup or put an allstar showcase team in last 5 years.
The posts that followed all brought different points of view and overall dialogue was great and a...
If not running clubs well can produce these results I will try and convince my club to follow their blueprint.
They are obviously doing something right for these results. Correct No??
It makes sense for players and entire teams to play in different geographical areas?
It makes sense to bus kids to the Okanogan and Island ?
Prohibiting CCB from becoming partners with Abbotsford only helped Surrey United and Coastal.
PS. Didn't make sense giving Abbotsford a club with 800...
