BCCSL Division 1 games have been posted. Still waiting for districts to schedule I guess (i.e. post final dates, times & venues).
My comment -- the schedule page & display seems to still be a work in progress. Every district enters their team names in their own and different formats, some are...

The Vancouver Whitecaps posted an announcement they embarking on a global search for a new "Sporting Director" and that the role of President would be eliminated, with Bob Lenarduzzi staying on as "Club Liaison". Other publications have put it a bit more bluntly...
OK gotta ask. I've just ignored it before. i.e. typing LEAGE instead of LEAGUE, like on this thread (a quick search shows LFC as most frequent yielder of LEAGE).
So I have never seen (nor can I Google) the word LEAGE before... is that some Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe or something :)
For 2019/20 BCCSL have changed the league's website/scheduling platform from GotSoccer to Stack Sports.
As of this evening, only the Metro division (both boys & girls) games are available, and still awaiting district schedulers to enter/change dates, start times & venues. Division 1 will be...
Drat again -- 10 minutes is too short -- I was going to add that the rules were actually effective June 1st, and noticeable during the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. With an exception -- the "goalie stepping off the line" rule -- yellow carding the GK was temporarily suspended, ostensibly to...

@newsoccerdad, it's great your daughter declared a desire to play at 4 YO! :) Was that 7-8 in MONTHS--that's what soccer seasons are in the lower mainland, from September to March.
You can Google to find many summer camps in Surrey & surrounding lower mainland. I'd recommend one to you but my...

Agreed, lower mainland winter soccer is a crap shoot. I remember one or more years when there was no league play for 2 months or longer because of weather closures occurring before and continuing after the Christmas/New Year break... this year with very little snow, no weather cancels during...
I've mixed feelings about PPG this year.
In my girl's U17 LC group, her team placed 3rd. The 2nd spot went to a team that had a 3.0 PPG based on ONE win & a BYE on a playable Sunday (i.e. 1-0-0 for 3.0 PPG) before the snow closures. My daughter's team played & split 2 games (1-1-0 for 1.5 PPG)...
Bah -- I'm ashamed to admit I was *not* a football (soccer) fan back then. Sure I was aware of the Caps then, but did not get to enjoy their championship season, nor the rest of their history during that era...
Looks like my U17 daughter's team will end up 3rd having played 2 games with 1W-1L recording a PPG of 1.5. The 2nd place team had a 3.0 PPG based on ONE LC game. To their credit, they did win their 2nd game - one of few played this past Sunday, which would've given their 2nd solid ground, but...
