u11-12 Jamboree District 3

Hey guys,

My first year coaching u11's in many moons - I see a jamboree at the end of the season for u11-12 District 3. Anyone experienced this day out before? Any insight I can share with the parents on my team what to expect on the day? I am really looking forward to it. I think it should be standard practice, rather than a one-day event each season!

Not sure what the format for U11 will be. SDU is hosting the district U10 Jamboree, that will consist of 2 (shortened) games for each team over the one day. 36 teams in all from SFDA. I would expect U11-U12 will be something similar. Hopefully the host clubs do it up right, with concessions, and sponsors. Really make it an event.

2 games? That's not enough! Should be 3 games - but I understand how many teams that involves.

I assume games are 30 minutes? 2x15 halves.
