We had the dreaded bye this week. Managed to find a friendly. Eked out a win despite trying to Keystone Cop ourselves to defeat.
Gave up the first goal when our keeper smacked a clearance off the opposing striker's face into our net. Gave up the second when our right back and center back ran into each other, allowing a 2 on 0.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh...
Created 3 very nice goals ourselves, and scored our own "horseshoe" goal when we crossed the ball from almost the corner flag and it found the far upper corner of the net. That tied it 3-3 with 7 minutes left, and we won it on the last kick.
Nice to have the lads challenged instead of laying around playing video games.
Big road trip to Abbotsford coming up next week.

Yeah, I know it's hard to complain when most of the away games are within 20 minutes...hahaha

lol love the difference in "road trip" between you guys and us. Us Abby-Chwk guys have a road trip every 2nd weekend
