OK, so BCSPL has standards. Whether those standards are measured, met, maintained, ensured etc is a different discussion.
My question is, why not put MSL and Div 1 also under the BCSPL banner as the 2nd, 3rd div, and 4th (a lot of MSL appear to have an A and B div already)? Give them standards, but of course reduce the standards in div 2 and div 3. No need for forced promotion/relegation. I say if two teams smash it in Div 3, then if they can meet the standards to play Div 2 then they go up and vice versa. But if they smash it and can't meet the standards they don't go up.
No promotion to Div 1. That's a closed league. But, putting all the leagues under 1 banner can give a clearer path for all, and a clearer example of standards that need to be met.
BCSPL is not the solution to all our problems. But, it's a start and has the correct theory.
Could go on and on and on....love to hear some of your guys' thoughts on this whether you agree or not.
