It is not common but of course we all need to be a little understanding because of the weather and all the backlogged games.
If there is less than 24 hours notice you could talk to your club rep. Best case they may get a fine. Of course you need to prove that they didnt reach out to you AND you made every effort to contact them. In situations like these it is good to know that you MAY play on Friday but the schedule isnt finalized yet.
If no contact is made contact your club to get the ball rolling. Thats what the rep is 4. Maybe they can get the other club scheduler to move a little quicker.
Sometimes no field space is available; you may even agree to get to host the game instead.
