I have a question :
A youth U18 [99 ]born player is signed up to a VMSL Div 1 team .
Both teams are under the same club .
Can this player play for the U18 team ?
Player Permits- whats the cut off time to permit up players from another team within the same club. Example - if the game is 4pm on a Sat and for whatever reason a team needs 2-3 players , can the forms be filled in by 12 noon the same day and what if the Dist 5 registrar is busy & doesn,t sign or misses the emailed form or even refuses to sign due to it being a last minute request.
Most of the times when a team needs players its normally a last minute thing like your situation - so if the permits are sent to the 5 Dist Rep by 8 or 9pm the night before the game , is the 5 Dist Rep obliged to sign off in that short period of time.I had to use call up permit this past weekend. I had a 10:00am Saturday game, and had the permits signed at 8:00 Friday night...all depends on your district registrar.
What's the penalty for a team coach not presenting ID cards as after October 1 all ID cards are needed to play games.
For last weekend's games, some clubs released the schedule while some clubs didn't, so this week if the club releases the schedule on Thursday and a game is scheduled to be played on Friday, that only gives a one day notice to both teams. So in that situation, can the away team refuse to play, but I do understand when you say that for a Saturday game, Thursday evening is the latest that an away team should be notified.Schedules should be out by Tuesday. But delays are understandable. Thursday evening is the latest I would be ok with.
Opposing team cant refuse a weekend game or it will be a forfeit. But it is common to agree to a schedule change to accomodate the other teams.
Yes. Games can be scheduled during the week if both teams agree.
