How good is this 15 year old kid? While he took a physical beating last night against Ottawa he held his own against men and certainly didn't look out of place. Hit the inside post, made two or three passes that should have directly resulted in goals. Played 84 mins.
Very bright future for this kid...

Will be very interesting to see how he turns out. As he is from Edmonton I hadn't heard of him until he signed USLPro. Not sure what his development story is.

If he keeps on as he is he may never see an MLS match as a Euro club surely will pay for him. Surely will be in Canada's next u20 cycle, and you may well see him capped at senior level before he's 17....albeit surely a friendly.

    From Whitecaps FC website

    INTERNATIONAL
Davies has been called up three times to Canada’s U-15 national team, and once to the U-18 national team in October 2015. He was also called up to the Canada U-20 camp in March 2016, starting in their 2-1 upset friendly win over England in Doncaster.

    YOUTH/AMATEUR
Davies played at Edmonton Internationals before moving to Edmonton Strikers, where he was coached under the guidance of Nick Housef.

    PERSONAL
Davies was born in Monrovia, Liberia then was raised in Edmonton, Alberta.

Yes he likely will be picked by a Euro team , though it would be nice to see him in a Whitecaps jersey for a long time...nothing helps grow the game more than home grown talent rising to the top...
