Not to read too much into things but i find your wording curious. You choose to name the Summer Clubs as the main clubs and the winter clubs has the banner they summer club play under in winter. As oppose to the other way.
Is that not in itself part of the issue... summer clubs trying to...
I would say in B cup there are definitely teams from summer clubs that have registered as a team with a winter club/..
for example U14 Boys B Cup Coastal Royal 1 - 0 Surrey FC Van Utd - I am only guessing here but the name suggested they are from the Van united summer club... no doubt there are...
I think the question is why wouldn't they, especially since its the same group of people who caused all the crap with CCB last summer... people have been suspended for less...
I think I wanted to be negative which is why I started with So... I then realized the showing of SFC was actually very good. The consistency of how well SFC shows in the Coastal Cup is truly remarkable. Also remarkable is the consistency of how poorly clubs with BCSPL franchises place, sort of...
Yes and still SFC won 23% of the cup finals , that is a pretty decent showing for them, would have thought CCB and PUFC would have shown a bit better..,..

Reserves would be an interesting idea , there would need to be a reserve league so kids actually play otherwise they will just go to a lower level.
The hierarchy is broken in that there is only 8 BCSPL franchises being run be community clubs. I have mentioned before and still believe the BCSPL...
Indeed, though I don't think its just about money. There are many pieces to this equation. Parent education, coach education, player education, soccer community mentality, the mentality of those outside the community. Unfortunately there is will always be really skilled kids missed, or who choose...
I think the cost issue has different importance to different people. The fact that TSS, FC Barcelona. Whitecaps FC academy, Roman Tullis and many more private academies all are doing well despite what i think is a ridiculous cost
(up to $700+/year on top of your regular club fees) shows people...
The need for increased and vastly improved coaching education can not be said enough. The community stream courses need to be more than show up for a weekend and get the course. Also as a vast majority of coaches are volunteer parents with minimal experience these courses need to teach coaches...
