Cavalry Football Club Joins Canadian Premier League (<-- link to article)
Calgary, AB (May 17, 2018) – The Canadian Premier League (CPL) confirmed today that Cavalry FC, based in Calgary, will be one of the founding clubs to play in the highly-anticipated professional men’s soccer league set to...
The shirt isn't me but I thought it was funny.
Unfortunately the reality isn't -- this week I experienced a stereotypical over-the-top sport parent this week at a box lacrosse (away) game. I watched the end of a boys game waiting for my daughter's game to start. Unfortunately nearby (small...
<Meh> Not ecstatic about "Port FC" and don't have an alternative suggestion.

First Crest of the proposed CPL teams - for York 9 FC (named means they represent 9 districts around York).
Rumour: York 9 FC to launch as official Canadian Premier League club
So, I wonder if "Port City FC" has a crest and/or logo already?
Aha -- I just needed to read some of the older stories leading up to that announcement, like this article:

To play devil's advocate, I'm curious if you (@TKBC) passed your plan by anyone to see if it truly falls "within the spirit" of the purpose of the policy as it is written? Perhaps in your conversation with Gregor... I think it's nice to be able to do what you propose by the way...

Q: does anyone who the new "league administrator" is?
A note concerning what @scissor wrote in his bullet #7 about "Increased numbers", I have heard mentioned during a club exec meeting that for 2 lower mainland clubs (1 being our club), registrations declined this past season. The other club was one of the bigger clubs in the Vancouver area. And...
Yes, not impressive by my neophyte eye. I checked the BCASL website/schedule, their FB page, checked the member Academy websites, got a pretty good look at the "lay of the land" I'd say. I would be wary based on what I saw :-)
I am familiar marginally, with Premier - my youngest attended a...
Could it be that BCASL isn't a sanctioned by BCSA league? Although TSS has had (may still be in litigation?) differences concerning getting it's academy teams "access to" (play in) BC SPL or other leagues, TSS remains an associate member of BCSA.
(disclosure: my u14 daughter attends TSS)
Sorry, with girls only playing in BCCGSL, I'm trying to relate the boy's season to what my girl's seasons were this & past seasons...
I know the boys started, what 2 weeks later, than the girls? Some girls have brothers playing so I know some districts (i.e. Burnaby) organized their own...
The BCCSL "league administrator" position is mentioned in this thread: Category 1 and 2 - change to youth landscape

@easoccer, sounds like your daughter has aged out of youth soccer, but was there a Coastal "C" cup at one time? I've seen references to it on our club's older "achievements" pages...
If I've seen anything in the past 7 years my girls have been playing, it's that youth (and all levels I guess)...
