U16. Lower Silver/Bronze is 8v8. I was not going to enter to play high Silver/Gold. Yes in the tournament league I will probably play a gold team here and there but the Silver teams are usually closer to my level.

No one said there shouldnt be affiliations. A district has a bcspl franchise. Executives coaches etc. All get voted in. But all clubs support that club.

Im not affiliated with CCB so I have nothing to say to them. Surrey United may have bcspl, but anything below is not important to them. From my experience they are poorly run and not very oganised.

Bcspl should have been a seperate entity, not affiliated with any NFP club. And for that matter take MSL and run it under the same umbrella.

If you want a fair and transparent process then all clubs should follow the same guidlines to obtain metro teams. This will allow kids from different clubs to reach bcspl if the ability is there. Providing a direct pathway for 2 clubs in a large district is not fair at all. Those kids will be...

They may have the standards for bcspl but it does nothing to encourage district wide support for bcspl. Why would any club based in newton want to support these clubs who are in direct competition with them? And players playing for those metro teams getting a better look when it comes to filling...

No club should get franchises by default. All four teams should be selected using the same process.

Since SUS and COASTAL are in the same district I would encourage the clubs to create an agreement with either of those clubs. Possibly even Langley.

I would say that competing clubs holding evals on days that DONT conflict is the exception to the rule. Of course most clubs would want to retain talent. The exception being support for, or partnerships with, clubs that are offering a higher level.
